Family History

While in Utah Dad and I had a wonderful time discussing family history stuff. We went thru some old photographs and identified a few people--and that is always an awesome thing for me. I took pictures of pictures from an old photo album that belonged to my great grandmother.

 This is my favorite image in the album. I would love to know who they are. Because the album is fragile I didn't want to remove the images to scan them, or even scan them while in the album, so I took pictures of the pictures. At home I did minor digital restoration and cropping. 

 I don't know who this couple is--again, I'd love to ID them. This is a composite I created. The background is the back cover of the album. the image on the left is a cropped image showing some of the album page with the photograph in place. If I could do one thing all day, everyday it would be to take pictures. Part of that, however, would be doing photo restoration.  More than that.... being able to find out who these people are and some of their stories.
